Start by telling Plat whether you want to make friends for ‘Active’ or ‘Social’ experiences.

We have eight different categories to make friends! Want to find a friend to go clubbing with? Click on the nightlife bin and go hit up the local bars, or maybe want to go hiking but don’t have a hiking buddy? Click on the outdoor bin and start hitting those trails.
Step 4:
Enter an Activity and Choose your Desired Intensity Level
You get 15 characters to say what you want to do. Choose your intensity with the electric bolts from easy-strenuous. This will give you more knowledge about what skill levels someone has.

Start Finding Friends!
Once you put in all of your information local people with your same activities will pop up on your screen. Click on their pictures to learn more about them, and spark up a conversation using our quick chat messages. Every six hours your post will be taken down so you can either keep finding friends for the same hobby or try something new.

The “Active” domain will allow you to find more towards physical activities, such as team sports, yoga, fitness, weightlifting. On the contrary, the “Social” domain will allow you to partake in activities involving more social aspects, such as making conversation, go out to dinner with a friend from Plat, or do some sightseeing in your area.
No, Plat is not an online dating site. Plat is a meetup app that focuses on platonic relationships. Sexual Conduct will not be tolerated within the app.
The word Plat is short for Platonic and means intimate and affectionate but not sexual. Hence, Plat is made strictly to meet friends and develop deeper relationships.
The lock bin allows you to see promotional events going on in your area. For example, if there is a live band playing, you can go to this bin to find out when and where this takes place, and also find someone to go with
In order to find the people nearby you, we need to access your location and it makes it easier for us to find you people who may be interesting. New activities/experiences may be available as the app grows. We want to make sure you are able to see all the new events popping up around you!
Plat is a free service to use. We encourage users to take advantage of its features. In order to experience the full capabilities of the app, there will be a paid version users can unlock.
